Wherever we operate, we are committed to continually reducing the amount of water we use, to making sure that we respect local water resources, and to ensuring that all the water we use is returned clean to the environment.
In 2007 Nestlé has once again demonstrated a commitment to the global water issue. The results can be seen in the latest report called Creating Shared Value. The following highlights the figures related to water management:
- 76% Increase of production volume*
- 22% Reduction of packaging material for bottled water**
- 28% Reduction of water withdrawal*
